ABOUT
Stacks Image p310_n20

After initially starting out in fine art, I became a freelance illustrator in 1997 when a year long creative computing course opened my eyes to the potential of digital illustration.
While on the course an opportunity arose to work for an in-store marketing company producing 3D product renders, which over the years has expanded into personal and client led interests in visualisation, product advertising, concept art, game asset creation, book illustration and photograph repair, enhancement or 'photobashing.'

The tools employed depend on each brief, but flexibility is key for any freelance illustrator, so I am equally at home creating imagery with 2D software, 3D software or all the usual traditional fine art materials.
